While watching the Celtics sweep the Knicks in the first round of the playoffs, my wife was utterly and completely disgusted when the image of little round M&M-like figures streamed across the television screen.
It was the latest Hot Pockets commercial and my wife was NOT amused. In fact, she could hardly bare watching the entire commercial.
What marketing guru came up with this gem of an idea that these talking figures, offering a view of what looks like oozing intestines, would be appetizing?
While I personally am not as bothered as my wife was, certainly, the commercial did not make me crave a talking, partly-disemboweled turnover.
